I mainly specialise in central and local government health and social care sectors, but I also have wide experience of working in educational and general publishing.
MADDISON GRAPHICS works in association with KiNG information publishing solutions to provide editorial, branding and photographic services.
Designing titles in their fiction, non-fiction and Puffin lists. Responsible for marking up manuscripts for design and house style and liaising with printers through to passing page proofs for press. After transferring to Penguin Education I worked on integrated litho books for primary, secondary and further education as well as books for teachers and general sociology titles.
Worked with television and radio producers designing materials to support BBC programmes for schools and further education series. Responsibility for commissioning artwork for covers, illustrations, filmstrips and other audio visual materials.
Producing classroom and in-service materials for teachers. Responsibility for commissioning artwork for illustration on a range of courses and working with in-house video production department.
Maddison Graphics has produced artwork for a wide range of clients including: a major exhibition for WWF in Tunisia, Natural History Museum, The Centre for Literacy in Primary Education, EMI, British Medical Journal, AA, Department of Health, Commission for Social Care Inspection.
